We are already in December and that means that the celebrations and Christmas parties begin, although this year they will be a little different from the previous year. Despite this, we cannot ignore the illusion that these festivities give us and the delicious dishes that we are going to savor. We want to be present at these celebrations and help you continue to be just as special, that is why we bring you different varieties of coffee to offer your guests at Christmas lunches and dinners. Go for it!

Coffee Liquor
This coffee called corretto (in Italian) is an espresso with a little liqueur that is usually taken after meals.
Preparation
We make an espresso with a De’Longhi super automatic by adjusting the volume to “short” and pressing the 1 cup button.
Then we add a tablespoon of our favorite liquor to taste and we would have it ready.
- As a tip, when we serve it it is better to do it in a preheated De’Longhi espresso glass . * The combination of these three elements ensures a perfect extraction of the coffee, since during the process the coffee machine preserves and exalts the peculiar flavors and aromas of the variety of coffee beans chosen so that you can enjoy your most aromatic and tasty coffee drinks.
Irish coffee
This variety of coffee is also quite common to serve after meals. As a curiosity, Irish coffee was invented in the 1940s by Joe Sheridan, chef at Foyne’s restaurant in County Clare. The traditional recipe for this type of coffee is as follows:
Ingredients
1 espresso
1 spoon of sugar
1 squirt of Irish whiskey
2 tablespoons whipped cream
Preparation
We set the volume on our De’Longhi super automatic to “long” and hit the 1 cup button.
Next we add the heated whiskey and the sugar.
We finish our recipe by covering with the whipped cream and if we wish we can also add a little cream.
- We recommend serving it with a glass of De’Longhi cappuccino . *

We do the same with coffee and rum (we beat everything together previously). You can use a hand or glass mixer to make it easier.
We put the vanilla essence and the ice cream in cubes in the mixer until it becomes a creamy texture.
Add the iced coffee cut into cubes and mix for a few seconds.
We pour the cream into the coffee cups and sprinkle with cocoa.

4 units
Ingredients
300g sugar
250 ml espresso (or 5 long espressos)
250 ml of water
1 egg white
Whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
We boil the water with 250 g of sugar and add the ristretto coffee that had been prepared previously.
We mix everything well and let it cool for at least a couple of hours in the fridge.
Once the time has passed, we pour it all into a metal container.
We beat the eggs with the rest of the sugar and mix well.
We put the mixture with the egg white and the coffee in the freezer and we crush it (or stir very well) at least three times during freezing, so that it does not freeze completely.
We remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving and decorate it with whipped cream and coffee beans.
